ROTARY CLUB CUTS SOD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF BOREHOLES AT BRANDHIGH

The Rotary Club from the United States & Accra paid a visit to St. Brother Andre Senior High School on Wednesday, March 6 to cut sod for the construction of five (5) boreholes. The club volunteered to construct these boreholes to improve on water supply in BRANDHIGH.

Speaking at the ceremony, the president Mr. Thomas Sabashie said their reason for the visit is to solve problem relating to water and bring hope to humanity. The president was accompanied by other members of the Rotary Club: Rabby Yawson (Past President), Mr. Jonathan Bartels-Kodwo (Vice President), Rtn Mr. Ben Berko (Member of Project Committee), Rtn Agnes Ofosu, Rtn Mr. Daniel Annobil and other executives of the club.

The entire students body, teachers and executives from the Rotary club witnessed the sod cutting to commence the project.

The project has been awarded to Kevsa Company Limited led by Mr. Papa Sam-Brew. According to the contractor, the first phase of the construction will start on March 7.

The BRANDHIGH community expressed appreciation to the Rotary club for their support to humanity.
