COMMISSIONING OF WASH PROJECT

The Rotary Clubs of Accra North and Castle Pines have commissioned five boreholes at St. Brother Andre Senior High School in the Central Region as part of the WASH PROJECT to provide safe drinking water for communities.

The facilities commissioned today were funded by the Rotary Club of Accra North with support from the Rotary Club of Castle Pines, USA.

The Rotary Clubs presented reverse osmosis system for purification and to extract contaminants from the water drawn from the boreholes.

The West Africa Provincial Superior of the Congregation of Holy Cross, Bro. John Badu Affum, C.S.C thanked the Rotary Clubs for extending their project to the school.

In addition, two tanks were installed to store purified water before distributing to the various blocks.
